NGK BP5. You can also get Bosch Supers (what I use in a Bug), but I can't find the number online. I normally just go to the auto parts store and tell them I need plugs, and they sell me the right ones.

.028. If you buy Bosch Super plugs, they're set to that at the factory. Check them before you put them in just in case they get thrown out in shipping, but I haven't received one yet that wasn't right.
if you didn't space your spark plug right will they spark
Usually if im working on an engine that a cylinder is missing. I first check to see if there is spark to that plug. if thers no spark, then its either a plug wire or distributer cap problem. then check the plug, if you got the plug sparking, you may have engine trouble
The suggested spark plug gap for a 1973 Harley Davidson is 0.040. It is the suggested gap for most of the spark plugs of that era.
