Pain/Nagato was able to use all 6 elementals.
What I personally think that is able to use mass jutsu with all elementals, but also if I am r
correct, that he has an affinity to all of them what also means that he maybe able to fuse
them together to one bloodline Jutsu or Rinnengan.

obviously the rinnengan which was used by the sage of six paths. he was the only one to have it. Peins rinnengan was modified/altered so it isn't the real deal. Or the strongest one can be the chibis eye if you count that. it is made of lots of sharingans and rinnengans

What does yahiko mean?
Yahiko is a character from Naruto Shippuden, he was a student under Jairaya along with Kohnan and Nagato, he was the creator of the Akatsuki but he later was killed and revived as the Deva Path by Nagato using the Rinnengan

the real pain is nagato because it is him who has the rinnegan they showed him in the manga when he was yonng he was a student of jiraiye along with konan and yahiko. but in the book it shows yahiko drains most of nagatos rinnengan power and calls himself pein because he feels others pain

izuna was madara's younger brother. and after madara lost sight he took his brothers eyes by force awakening the eternal magnekyou. but in the shippuden episode episode 221 (storage) it shows kabuto wanting to form an alliance with tobi. kabuto then uses reanimation (edo tensei) creating 5 former akatsuki (who are: itachi, deidara, sasori, kakazu and nagato) tobi asks what will happen if he declines where then kabuto summons a sixth coffin containing madara uchiha. by this tobi freaks out as kabuto realises that madara is really dead. so tobi was a close companion with madara and would of killed madara and taken his mangekyou and rinnengan (as before madara died he awakened the rinnengan) then tobi implanted the rinnengan into nagato, where he later takes it back after he kills konan. i then did a little more research and it states that izuna didnt really die and as izuna was blind he killed madara making him tobi so tobi is actually izuna not madara
Who does pain kill?
Pain kills many ninja, including Jiraya and Kakashi Sensei, with Anko and yeah. But Naruto exceeds pain's powers, pain dies, everybody is brought back to life, since Nagato's Rinnengan has the power to control life and death. So he sacrificed himself, hoping naruto would bring peace to the world, and brings everybody back. Also, naruto becomes the hero at the village, everybody is cheering him, and this happened in the lastest episode as of 9/12/10 in Japan.
Is the sharingan the same as the rinegan?
No, Never. The rinnegan is a visual capacity that is given to only one person every some decades after the one who possesed it before dies. While the Sharingan is of the uchiha clan and every one in that clan can posses it if the get the needed chakra control. The abilities of the one who has the rinnegan are unknown, the only thing known is that he can control all the five stills perfectly. The sharingan when complete can copy jutsus, see the fastest stuf as if it was really slow, it can create a powerful genjutsu, it can see the flow of chakra but not the chakra points. When it becomes into a mongekyo (that can only come it by kiling his or her best friend) sharingan it can do all that and posses the ultimate genjutsu known as tsukoyomi, then some which possesthe tsukoyomi have the amaterasu the supreme physical attack (this jutsu is a fire still ninjutsu that insinerates everything it touches until itis totally destroyed), When the tsukoyomi and the amaterasu are in a mongekyo the susanoo rises ( this is the supreme barrier against all jutsu nothing can go through the susanoo), others who posses the mongekyo can also posses a space jutsu (that consists in that what ever the user sees transfers into another universe). When an uchiha has the mongekyo every time he uses it he or she becomes blind little by little so that they dont become blind they need to get the eyes of his or her brother or sister. Its said that the one who posses the rinnengan will learn all the jutsus on earth, but still for the explanation I just gave, the sharingan is the suprime visual jutsu who even surpasses the rinnengan.
Why does madara has rinnegan?
he is the first shinobi to get it,he then gave it to nagato for some unknown purposes; maybe it was part of his scheming of world domination. the way he got it was pretty simple in theory: as it is said in the story the sharingan,the mangekyou sharingan and then the rinnegan are the strongest and the most noble of doujutsu. so after getting his eternal mangekyou sharingan he was able to unlock this rinnengan thus becoming as powerful as the rikudu sennin.
