Reincarnation and karma both stem from Eastern religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism. The idea they have in common is that they both involve the concept of cause and effect. In reincarnation, one's soul is believed to be reborn into a new body based on past actions and karma, which refers to the moral law of cause and effect determining one's destiny based on their actions in this life or previous lives.
Many Buddhists do believe in reincarnation, but it is not required. No not all of them do.
