there are many more stars in the Milky Way than just our sun, and most of those are bigger, older, and brighter. the sun is a medium sized star, and only possibly has heat/light effect on the 9 planets of out Solar System (including Pluto). so, in the galaxy, the sun does not have a huge role, but in our solar system, the role of the sun is to keep life on earth by supplying the perfect conditions for anything to survive
No role, at all. None. Even the Earth and Sun have no part to play.
the sun is a star that is in the galaxy! not away from it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>:(
no our galaxy doesn't have a blue sun.
No one, as the Sun is not in the middle of the Galaxy
No. Every star in the galaxy is a sun.
Our sun "The Sun" exists in a galaxy called "the milky way", all other galaxy's that we know of also have suns.
The galaxy in which we are located - and thus the galaxy in which our Sun, and our Solar System, is located, is known as the "Milky Way".
The Milky way galaxy
Spiral galaxy
The Andromeda Galaxy is the closest one to the sun. Our galaxy is the closest one of all.
The sun is a star but the sun is a star but it is the only one in our galaxy, the milky way.
The Sun, then Neptune and then the Andromeda galaxy.
