The Albanian language is an Indo-European language.

It comes from illyrian language.

It use latin alphabet and it has 36 letters.

The Albanian language is maybe the oldest language in Europe and many ancient words from Illyrian language have survived. Ex:

Bardul-Bardhyl (means a white person)

Dimal-Dy Male (means two hills)

Afrodita-Aferdita (means The Day is near) this word is stollen from Greeks it is not the Greece AFRODIA and the Beauty Good but is the Illyrians Good Afër+Dita (THe day is near)

dedicated to beuty of the Day(Sun).

But this is not scientific proven yet !!
