The same between animal cells and plant cells are that they are need to survive. If you didn't have them, you would be an ant. You don't want to be an ant because ants are really small. They get swished easily. You should try it. I promise this is an example. You could get an A on you Biology Exam. Everything on animal and plant cells is the same EXCEPT for the plant cells have vaculoles and an extra membrane. Plant cells are usually rectangular while animal cells are more circular to blob shaped.

Almost everything is the same. It's easier to list differences.
Plant cells have a cell wall, animal cells don't.
Animal cells have only mitochondria whereas plant cells also have chloroplasts.
Otherwise they're much the same: cell membranes, cytoplasm, nucleolus, ribosomes. Their genes code for proteins the same way ours do, using the same codes and RNA messengers.
