I was wondering the same thing, and from what I've heard it does, seeing as alcohol has a strong affect on the nervous system in general, but especially the brain. As far as types of alcohol goes, I know beer is the worst for your pineal gland due to its high acidity, so until you can find out for sure what alcohol is doing to your third eye, I'd stick to red wine ;)
