What is the real Krabby Patty recipe?

Sesame Seed. In one show, the secret sauce is red, but tarter sauce is yellow and sea horse relish is white, so both are out. Thousand Island Dressing can't look red, so slim chance. In another show, a line said sesame seed was in the recipe, so that's the secret ingredient.

Krusty Krab Krabby Patties Secret Formula

Children everywhere want krabby patties. My little grandson even bonded with one of my spatulas and latched onto it like it was a life-saving device. He slept with it. When he was eating, it rested beside his plate. When he was playing, it was always within his reach. Because he planned on making krabby patties. That never happened, but at least he had the tools to make them if the occasion ever arose.

Of course, the original Krabby Patty has a secret sauce, of which the recipe is top secret and closely guarded. There is much speculation about this secret sauce recipe, but no one knows what it is. We're missing the sauce in this recipe, but this is as close as we can get.

I found this secret recipe for Krabby Patties, and made them for him often. He stood in a chair and watched me turn them, while holding his own spatula in his little hand. He loved this sandwich, even though if it weren't for Spongebob, I feel certain this is something he would not have liked. Kids are simply awesome!


The Krabby Patties:

1 pound imitation crab meat (mixed in a food processor)
4 cups seasoned bread crumbs
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoons mayonnaise (not salad dressing, this is important!)
2 teaspoons celery, chopped
2 teaspoons onion, chopped
4-6 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon thyme
2 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
• Combine the crab meat with all the other ingredients.
• Form into patties and place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
• Bake patties for 5 minutes.
• Turn and bake 5 more minutes.

The Sandwich:

Ingredients:

Seaweed buns (onion or potato buns are great)
Cheese slices
Sea ketchup
Sea mustard
Sea lettuce
Sea tomato, sliced
Sea pickles, slices
Sea onion, sliced or diced

Put the sandwich together in the following order:

• Bottom bun
• Mayonnaise
• Krabby Patty
• Lettuce
• Cheese
• Onions
• Tomatoes
• Ketchup
• Mustard
• Pickles
• Top Bun

Serve immediately.
