CO2 SENSOR
It is screwed into the exhaust pipe, behind the engine. It is above the converter.
There are two upstream O2 sensors 4.0L V6 Upstream & Downstream Sensor Locations * Both upstream sensors are screwed into the exhaust pipe right below the exhaust manifold flanges * Both downstream sensors are located in the catalytic converters 4.6L V8 Upstream & Downstream Sensor Locations * The left upstream sensor is screwed into the exhaust manifold right above the manifold flange and the right upstream sensor is screwed into the exhaust pipe right below the exhaust manifold flange * Both downstream sensors are located in the catalytic converters
the sensor for the gauge should be by the thermostat housing, the sensor for the ecm should be on the right rear of engine above exhaust manifold screwed into head
The O2 sensor is located on the drivers side exhaust manifold in the down pipe above where it bolts to the exhaust. You'll see it
It is located on the front edge of the drivers side head, right above the exhaust manifold.
the oil pressure sensor, for a dash with idiot lights (no gauge), is located on the top of the engine at the back behind the distributor virtically screwed in. The oil guage sensor, for a dash with an oil gauge, is located above the oil filter on the drivers side of the engine screwed in horizontally.
On the Minivan it is the sensor in the exhaust on the back of the engine in the exhaust manifold. On an Intrepid/LHS/Concorde it is the pass side above cat oxygen sensor. On the Minivan it is the sensor in the exhaust on the back of the engine in the exhaust manifold. On an Intrepid/LHS/Concorde it is the pass side above cat oxygen sensor.
They are screwed into the sides of the heads, just above the exhaust manifolds.
IN THE EXHAUST PIPE, JUST ABOVE THE CONVERTER.
If your 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity has the V6 engine the oxygen sensor is in the middle of the exhaust manifold nearest the firewall. If you have the 4 cylinder engine the oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold just above the exhaust pipe flange.
On the drivers side of the engine , above the exhaust manifold
above the exhaust pipe entering the catalyst converter, Use an 11/16 wrench to loosen original sensor. above the exhaust pipe entering the catalyst converter, Use an 11/16 wrench to loosen original sensor.
