What is the 'warriors' series about?

The Warriors series, by Erin Hunter, is about wild cats living in clans in a forest where they hunt, fish, and or gather to survive. There are certain roles that each cat has, like an apprentice, mentor, warrior, medicine cat, or leader, and they have to survive the harsh winters, humans, lack of food, and other clan attacks. They also believe in StarClan, basically their version of heaven and the dead cats are watching over them. StarClan usually sends messages to the clans through the medicine cast, but in each series of 6 books, there is a prophecy that is to be filled, but the cost and struggles are unknown.... Most recommended to animal lovers.

The Warriors books, by Erin Hunter, are about four Clans of cats- plus StarClan, who are the deceased cats- ThunderClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, and RiverClan. Each of the Clans have separate and unique strengths and weaknesses and sometimes they form alliances but at the best of times the Clans struggle to get along. The first book to read is Warriors #1: Into The Wild. The main character would be Fireheart, who was once a house cat (which they call kittypets). He goes into the wild and eventually ends up becoming a huge part of ThunderClan's future, and you'll find out how if you continue to read the series. That part is six books. The next part, The New Prophecy, is based on the story of a young warrior, Brambleclaw, who struggles to earn his Clan's trust due to the fact that his father was Tigerstar, who was a coldhearted murderer and former ShadowClan leader. The third section of the Warriors series is called The Power of Three, which is about three kits- Hollykit, Jaykit, and Lionkit, who grow up together and learn that they may be more than just ordinary cats. If you want my opinion, The Power Of Three is my overall favourite. But to fully understand the series, you have to read the original and New Prophecy first. I give Warriors 100% five stars for everyone out there- people who are looking for something to read, who are bored, who love cats, who like good action novels, or want to get into the habit of cracking open a good book each night. Doesn't matter either way- the Warriors series is a great series to enjoy.
