The Fablehaven Series is about two siblings who have to stay with their Grandparents. They discover that their Grandparents are caretakers of a magical reserve. They go through many adventures together, which include destroying monster, trying to stop the Society of the Evening Star, and trying to stop a plague that turns creatures of light into creatures of darkness.
His other book, The Candy Shop War,is about four friends who meet a women that makes magic candy. They help her do things and she rewards them with candy. The jobs are too much for some of them,but when you quit, you can't go back.they have to work together .The fate of the world depends on it.
