Angel, the seventh Maximum Ride book, is about The Doomsday Group trying to destroy humanity as we know it. Max and Fang have gone their own separate ways, with Fang building his own flock, including Max II who has renamed herself Maya, and Max trying to get over him. Jeb and Dr. Hans tell Max about Gen 77, the seventy-seventh generation of "mutants" and how she needs to start ruling them now. She and what is left of the original flock head to a special school for genetically altered kids. That is all that I shall reveal 'cuz I don't want to ruin the book for you.:)
