If you seal the container well it could last very very long. Moisture is the cause of clumping. Heat could speed this up & even caramelize it. Generally if the sugar breaks up when mixed it is usable. Otherwise it is only good for cooking & coffee.

If they are stored in an airtight container in the open - 3 weeks. If they are refrigerated in an airtight container - 4 weeks. Or you can freeze them and heat them up when you get an urge for one - up to 6 months.
