Select the text means to choose a series of word(s).
Keyboard Command: Control (Ctrl) + CThe COPY command is used for just that - it copies the text or image you have selected and stores is on your virtual clipboard, until it is overwritten by the next "cut" or "copy" command.
After setting line spacing for something, select the next block of text you want to change and either press the F4 key or Ctrl - Y. F4 and Ctrl - Y are both shortcuts for the redo command, and can be used to redo anything.
Command name for copying text in microsoft windows is control plus c. This command can be used everywhere in windows for copying anything. You can also copy music, video, etc files.
Selecting non-contiguous text is not a system wide feature of Mac OS X and needs to be implemented within each application. Applications such as Apple's TextEdit and Microsoft's Word do have the ability to hold down the Command key and select additional non-contiguous text but many applications do not include this option.
In Microsoft word it is "select text"
in a word processing or text editing software, such as Pages, or Mail, select the word or words you want to underline. Press "Command U" to underline. Press 'Command U' again to undo it.
