An audit is a process that is meant to examine, investigate and organized facts, or data to an organization, as website, or a certain data at hand. This is done to make sure that information being gathered or given is correct and that it is officially checked before being disclosed.

An audit also helps in detecting possible missing pieces of information, leaks, or wrong data included.
