Slavery is not included in the Constitution itself, but it is in the Amendments. The Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution abolishes slavery.

Rhode Island was the thirteenth to ratify the Constitution.
In late December of 1865 the twenty seven states approved of the thirteenth amendment to the US Constitution. This effectively outlawed slavery in the US.
That would be the Thirteenth Ammendment.
The Emaciation Proclamation began the end of slavery but it was formally outlawed by the Thirteenth Amendment to the US Constitution.
