There are many 'moral standards' in The Bible, but the PRIMARY one throughout, particularly noticeable in the Christian Greek Scriptures, is LOVE.
1 John 4:8 "The one who does not love does not know God, for God islove."(NASB)
John 13:35 "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another" (NASB)
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ". . . If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my bodyto be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing."(NASB)
Romans 13:8-10 ". . .Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For this, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet" and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, You shall love your neighbor as yourself".Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."
