Best Answer

nucleoli

INCORRECT only ribosomal RNA is synthesized there

Correct answer is Nucleolus

No no no, nucleoli is the plural of nucleolus and neither is correct. There are no proteins synthesized in the nucleous. None. The ribosome is a "ribozyme" and so it's catalytic RNA component is synthesized at the Nucleoli but by weight the ribozyme is mostly protein. The lab above me in college discovered the ribosome X-ray structure. The ribosome is not synthesized in the nucleus PERIOD. just pick up a book instead of the internet....my god people

Nucleolus (present in the nucleus). The ribosomal DNA is synthesized in the nucleolus. The protein of ribosomes is made outside of the nucleus (like every protein of the eukaryotic cell) and then transported to the nucleolus and assembles with the rRNA. The complex is then taken back out of the nucleus in order to function.

MRNA migrates from its site of synthesis and becomes attached to?

From the nucleus where it is synthesized, the mRNA passes into the cytoplasm and become attached to ribosomes.

What molecule caries an amino acid to the site of protein synthesis?

mRNA, or messenger RNA, carries an amino acid to the site of protein synthesis. Ribosomes are the site of protein synthesis.

Where does messenger RNA mRNA carries the genetic code from an allele of DNA to?

The site of protein synthesis.

Which type of rna carries the codons for proteins synthesis from the DNA to the ribosome?

During transcription, mRNA is formed. This type of RNA carries codons. The m stands for messenger. This describes the job that mRNA fulfills in the DNA process.

Which part of a cell is the site of protein synthesis?

Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum(RER) is the site of protein synthesis ;while Ribosomes are the structures that synthesize the protein.

How does the dna message get to the site of protein synthesis?

Messenger RNA or simply mRNA. It is released from the nucleus into the Golgi complex for use by Ribsosomes

What is the site of protein synthesis?

The steps of protein synthesis: Transcription occurs in the nucleus of the cell, where DNA is transcripted into mRNA Translation occurs in the cytoplasm of the cell, where the mRNA is translated into amino acids and forms a protein

What pattern is used in protein synthesis?

mRNA

Protein synthesis occurs at this organelle?

mRNA functions as a messenger from the original DNA helix in the 'nucleus' (transcription), and is then transported to the 'cytoplasm' where the information in the mRNA is translated (translation) into a sequence of amino acids making up a polypeptide.

What is purpose of ribosomes?

They are the site for protein synthesis, mrna from inside the nucleus is transcribed into amino acids at the ribosomes.

Why is it essential that tRNAbinds to both an aminoacid and an mRNA codonduringprotein synthesis?

since mRNA codon signals the beginning of protein synthesis and aminoacids are necessary for reading the codon

In the synthesis of mRNA an adenine in the DNA pairs with?
