Is it true that the female urinary and reproductive systems are completely separate and do not share structures?

That is correct for the most part. Except for the location, the urethra plays no role in reproduction in females. In males, the urethra is a major part of the reproductive system. The seminal vesicles attach to the urethra, and all the other internal male reproductive organs attach to the seminal vesicles. So a male both urinates and ejaculates out of his urethra. Something to note is that while things like "female ejaculation" and female orgasm serve a psychological role and add to the enjoyment of sex, they serve no reproductive role. A woman can get pregnant as long as viable semen enters her body at the right time of the month, assuming she is healthy and of childbearing age.

How is the female reproductive system different from the male reproductive system?

The difference between a male and female is that a male's sex or reproductive organs are located outside of the body, whereas the female's sex organs are located inside the body. For instance, where males have testicles outside of the body (for most animals except amphibians, birds, reptiles, insects, fish and most sea mammals), the females equivalent to the male's testicles, being the ovaries, are located inside the body. Also, the penis is made so that it is outside of the male's body immediately before and during copulation. The female's equivalent of the male's penis is the vagina. Females are capable of giving birth to live young or laying eggs, depending on what animal we are talking bout, but males cannot. Males only have the means to get a female pregnant by ejaculating sperm into the female's vagina, which then travel through the cervix into the uterus to fertilize the ova or ovum that have been released into the female's reproductive tract. Males have a Y chromosome and an X chromosome while females have two X chromosome. Males produce sperm that is meant to fertilize the eggs the females produce. In humans the males are generally more muscular than the females.

What do the reproductive system glands do?

A female produces eggs from her ovaries. A male produces semen. When these two things come into contact with each other(in the woman's uterus) , the egg is thus fertilized and will begin to develop into a fetus..which then becomes a baby!!:)
