Will Estell was the trophy presenter in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), and presented the winning trophy to John C. Reilly's character, Cal Naughton Jr after winning the Talladega 500. Will Estell's character was originally to depict the CEO of Ford Motor Company presenting the winning Talladega trophy to Reilly's Naughton, however this changed at the last moment the day of filming because Ford Motor Company refused to lend its likeness to the film. This, causing the wardrobe department to remove the Ford hat that Estell was wearing in order to have his character show no affiliation to the auto company. This is first hand crew knowledge, as I worked on the Talladega crew of this Columbia production.
