The band's name is Hem and they are performing both songs in the last two pay-it-forward themed Liberty Mutual commercials. The first commercial used the song "Half Acre" from their first album, Rabbit Songs. The second song is "The Part Where You Let Go" which was released on an EP called "Home Again, Home Again". There actually is no name of the song. It was an original score done specifically for the Northwestern Mutual commercials (and the longer 2-minute online video). Since it was just for the commercials, the creative team never got around to naming the song itself. It could be called "The Northwestern Mutual Permanent Life Insurance Song", but that's not very catchy.
The song is Amen Omen by Ben Harper.
