You use the MacBook Air like any other Mac portable. Only, there is no inbuilt SuperDrive, you use remote SuperDrive with the MacBook Air. Please message me if you have any other questions. Or visit "http://www.apple.com/macbookair"
The Intel Core i5 offered in a new MacBook Air is more than sufficient for daily use. A MacBook Pro is better suited for heavy design or developing use.
it is an apple product. BUT, if i were you i wouldn't get the macbook air or pro if you don't have (or in) a business. just get the normal macbook for home use. i am typing this message on my macbook!
The MacBook Air can access an SD card wirelessly when it is mounted and shared from another computer.
The macbook air super-drive is basically a disk drive(like the ones you find in other mac laptops). You can use it to play dvds, cds and games.
The 2012 MacBook Air does not have a built-in HDMI port. However, it can support HDMI output through the use of a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. This allows you to connect the MacBook Air to an HDMI-equipped display, such as a TV or monitor.
The only disadvantage to a Macbook Air is the fact that is does not have a CD/DVD drive, nor does it have the Retina display. It also has less memory and it also costs just as much as a Macbook Pro if you get the 13.3" model. But it is lighter and thinner. If you use it allot when traveling and a size and weight are important then it is a good choice. I personally would buy the Macbook Pro 13".
You can use rubbing alcohol and fire to clean it

Apple has a feature called Continuity that gives your MacBook Air the ability to make a call to a mobile phone. It does require a MacBook Air or Pro with the Yosemite OS, and the iPhone would need to be iOS 8.
