My Scenic is a 2001 model with a 1998cc motor. The engine type is F4R which has 4 spark plugs. The spark plugs use a 5/8" socket plug. You will need about a 15cm extension on the socket as the plugs are situated deep inside the engine.
autodata 2004 lists the gap for the 1.4 16v scenic as .9mm
its 8mm square
Hi Scenic owner,To access to the location, you have to remove engine cover by lifting the front part, ie nearer to you, then pull the cover towards you. This will prevent damaging the cover.Every spark plugs has its individual ignitor. It can be removed by unfastening bolt size 10mm socket.Once the ignitor is removed, the spark plug which is inside the plug well can be removed by using the right size spark plug socket wrench.Hope this help.

hi, remove silver cover from top of engine to expose plug leads, looking from the right hand side the sensor is between the first and second spark plug, hope this helps, m.a.
The spark plug gap for a 2004 Renault Clio 1.5 liter 16v should be set at .9 mm. A new spark plug can be purchased at any auto parts retailer.
