Teary envy from Chevy guys. listen for the sqeak, determine if it is coming from the interior of the car or one of the moving parts, if it is in the steering check your bushings first.
Dirty brake pads could cause a car to make a squeaking noise when putting the car in gear or when releasing the brakes. Cleaning, sanding, or replacing the brake pads should make the sound stop.
dry bearings. get a LOF and inspection. make sure they lube all the grease fittings
Without knowing year, make, model I'll just point out the easy one. Dry lower control arm bushings.
Your shocks are going out. You may also want to replace the springs as well.
A squeaky noise can come from the back of your car if your shocks are damaged. Sometimes shocks can dry rot.
you must have run over a budgie
I have the same car with the same problem.. i have tried to find what it is, but my only explanation is something to do with the suspension. does it make the same noise when you bounce the car up and down?
Probably strut mounts or control arm bushings.
umm it more than likely is your supsension, shocks or possibly even your tires itself GOODLUCK!
A squeaking noise when traveling over 40 mph could be due to several factors. Common causes include worn brake components, such as pads or rotors, which can create noise at higher speeds. Additionally, it might be related to loose or worn suspension parts, such as bushings or struts, that become more pronounced at increased velocities. Lastly, tire issues, like uneven wear or low pressure, can also lead to squeaking sounds while driving.
Your squeaky wooden bed frame makes noise at night because of friction between the wood components. Over time, the wood may dry out, causing it to rub against itself and create the squeaking sound when pressure is applied, such as when you move in bed. Lubricating the joints or tightening the screws can help reduce the noise.
Alpacas make many noises, from humming when they are happy or communicating to their fellow alpaca friends. To high pitch screaming when they feel they are possibly being harmed, or a similar screaming "sqwuawk" when males are fighting to be dominate over the other. They also make a alert noise to warn the herd that a possible enemy is near or that there may be danger which is a type of repetitive honking type noise, somewhat similar to a squeaking chipmunk.
