I know because I own a Cane Corso. They are very, very, very smart. Most Cane Corso are smart and learn quickly. They have to be with a kind, patient owner. They are usually smart in a good way, if they have a good owner. Cane Corso are common police dogs, because of their agility. That requires a smart dog.
