There is generally no statute of limitations on failing to appear in court. They court will not extradite for minor offences like traffic tickets but will for major felony cases. However if you have a warrant and get stopped by police, they will arrest you and you will be in more trouble than these minor cases cause to begin with. You may plea that case to a judge but then you are gambling on what he will rule.
