The general term for this behavior is tropism. It can take a variety of forms, including phototropism (when the stimulus is light) and chemotropism (when the stimulus is a particular chemical).
Chemotropism : The movement of plant parts in response to chemical stimulus is called chemotropism. example- formation of pollen tube by pollen grains in order to transfer male gamete to the ovary. Hydrotropism : The movement of plant parts in response to water is called hydrotropism. example- movement of roots in search of water.

A stimulus is not a reaction, a stimulus is what causes a reaction.
chemical
Tropism is defined as the movement, generally by a plant, due to outside stimuli; direction of sunlight being a primary stimulus. Chemotropism is defined as oriented growth or movement in response to a chemical stimulus.
Movement or growth of an organism or part of an organism in response to a chemical stimulus.

Any plant can have chemotropism. Its all dependent on its reaction toward or away from chemicals. A Common example is pollen tubes and ovules.

stimulus
The difference between an external stimulus and an internal stimulus is that an external stimulus is a stimulus that comes from outside an organism. But an internal stumulus is a stimulus that comes from inside an organism. An example for an external stimulus can be that when you are cold, you put on a jacket. An example for an internal stimulus is that when you feel hungry, you eat food.
Tropism is a biological phenomenon where an organism responds to the stimulus brought by the environmental factors. Some examples include: chemotropism, heliotropism, phototropism, thermotropism and electrotropism.
