Basically Hunger Games takes place in the future. A poor and very sad future, were North America now known as Panem is split up into 12 districts, and 1 very cruel ruler. There was a huge war between the districts and the capitol but the capitol won! Now the capitol punishes each district, by sending 1 girl and 1 boy from each district to The Hunger Games. Which is an huge cruel arena in which children between 12 and 18 battle to the death! There will only be one winner and there is 24 children in the arena.
