the streak color is Dark Green
White. When it is grinded upthe streak color is whit from the sivers after color.
The streak of copper is a reddish-brown color when it is scratched on a white porcelain plate. This test helps to distinguish copper from other minerals by examining the color left behind.
Aluminum has a silvery metallic streak.

The streak color of copper is reddish-brown. When you rub a copper sample against a streak plate, it leaves behind a reddish-brown mark.

One way to distinguish copper from galena is by conducting a streak test. Galena will leave a gray-black streak, while copper will leave a reddish-brown streak. Additionally, you can perform a simple acid test – copper will not react with hydrochloric acid, while galena will produce hydrogen sulfide gas when exposed to the acid.

It might leave a copper coloured streak across the magnet, but apart from that, nothing much. I think you are looking at what happens to a copper wire when it is moved in a magnetic field. In which case the answer is, a current is induced in the wire. (It does not have to touch)
A few things used to identify minerals are streak tests, hardness, cleavage, solubility, magnetic.Streak test: When you scrape a mineral on a streak plate it leaves behind powder of a certain color. Hematite leaves a red streak. I don't know what streak copper has.Hardness test: minerals have different hardness, their ability to be scratched or scratch. this can be determined by seeing if you can scratch a mineral with your finger nail or if the mineral will scratch a piece of glass. I don't know if this test will do much good though in determining copper from hematite.Cleavage: Cleavage in mineralogy refers to when you break a mineral, how it fractures. Does it fracture into cubes, rhombus shapes, conchoidal, etc.Solubility: copper is soluble in acids and forms green-blueish solutions, hematite is insoluble.Magnetic: hematite is sometimes slightly or strongly magnetic. copper is not magneticAfter you test your samples, look up in a book or manual to see which mineral(s) have matching properties.
what is the streak of sedimentary rocks
there is no name for the color, but there is the "streak" of a mineral, meaning the color of its streak.
The lack of a streak would indicate that the mineral is harder than the streak plate, or the color of the streak is the same as the color of the streak plate.
