Her desire to glory in the time that she will have to herself after all of this time feeling apparently kind of trapped. In paragraph 7 of "The Story of an Hour," the strong impulse refers to Mrs. Mallard's conflicting emotions of grief upon hearing of her husband's death, followed by unexpected feelings of freedom and liberation as she contemplates life without him. The introductory paragraph should catch the readers eye and have a strong thesis statement.
A topical paragraph is just a paragraph with a strongly developed topic or main idea. Any time you have to write a single paragraph, that is a topical paragraph. In a report or essay, a topical paragraph is one in which you have strong details and facts supporting the main idea. A topical paragraph can stand alone and be read without any other paragraphs supporting it.
"Extended" just means long or lengthy. An extended paragraph is just a long paragraph. It is usually a more formal kind of paragraph than the ones you normally write - you will need to have a strong topic sentence, supporting facts, and a concluding sentence for this type of paragraph.

A strong belief in oneself is sometimes referred to as confidence. Someone who has confidence can also be said to be actualized.
This will depend upon the number of muscle fibers the nerve innervates. However, all fibers innervated by the nerve should contract in response to the neuronal impulse.
