free to play people there is a great spot called the stronghold of security right outside of the barbarian village near edgville theres a hole in the ground go down it and you enter the stronghold there you can fight cockroach warriors and they drop good stuff such as rune sq shields addy ore mith ore all runes and gems. i make around 300k from being down there for a couple of hours

∙ 14y agoI believe you will get more gems by mining than from any monster drop. But if you need gems, for example to train the Crafting skill, it is best to earn money with other methods, then buy the gems on the Grand Exchange.
