Ok, the teacher will remove the 63. Now to calculate the average, you do 74+87+68+76 which equals 305. Then you divide your answer 305, by the number of exams you are adding....so you have 4 exams to add....thus, 305/4= 76.25....therefore the average 76%

Its that simple to get the average of anything.

1. add the numbers

2. divide your answer by the # of stuff you added

3. and that gets you the average.
