What is the story about-The Civil War is at an end. The main character is named Eluenda. She is a slave, even his two brothers Zeke and Neddy. Her younger brother Zeke was sold away, her older brother Neddy joined the Northern war effort, and her master named Mr. Hampton will not acknowledge that Eulinda is his daughters now Eluenda was all alone. Then she realizes that her brother Neddy is buried in the closed Andersonville Prison.
