The correct spelling is tule fog instead of tulie fog. Tule fog is defined as a thick ground fog in areas of California's Great Central Valley. Tule fog forms in late fall after the first significant rainfall until spring.

I have a Toyota and most of the cars today are pretty much the same. My fog lights are located on the arm from the steering wheel that turns on the lights. Look closely and you should see a symbol for fog lights and just turn it to that symbol.
If you are talking about the station model found on Surface Analysis charts, the cloud symbol would be an open circle (cloud coverage less than 1/10 coverage). The fog symbol would be 3 equal length horizontal lines stacked vertically separating the station temperature (on top) and the station dewpoint (beneath) to the left of the open circle.
Turn the lights on and pull the control straight out toward you. The green foglight symbol will turn on.

Steam fog and frontal fog
Fog intensity is how dense fog is. The lower the visibility, the more intense and dense the fog is.
Turn the headlight swith on to activate the lights and then pull the switch outwards - towards yourself being in the Driver's seat. A yellow symbol next to the Headlight Switch should light up and the Fog Lights will come on. "Let there be light........."
Pea soup fog is fog that is extremely thick, or heavy.
