The action of the serpent starts from the lower realms to rise above to the higher realms of spirit. The action of the serpent flows through the angelic human from its lowest desires/chakra and as it goes up towards the crown cleanses and purifies. The serpent paralyzes all evil intent and wipes it out completely as it purifies the vessel. An example of the serpent/kundalini energy symbology is the medical caduceus. The serpent is not the devil. The serpent is your helper, for it helps you purify yourself, and your intentions.
