Does anyone know? I think it could be the lion (since the lion and hippopotamus both exist in Egyptian mythology and are creatures of the Nile; and both symbolize strength, vigor, fertility, destruction, water, the mother principle (the lioness), and the astral world, but it could also be the hippocampus, since the names are similar (the names for both mean "sea-horse"), and being similar to the horse, both beasts represent strength, vigor, fertility, water, and the land and water. Does anyone know what it could be?
