They are expected to inculcate values about community development toward their students. Of course before doing anything, they have to motivate first and make the students aware about their community. Teachers are leaders expected to influence young minds toward formulating solutions on problems faced by the community; how to manage the resources within. Since school needs help from community because of the resources applicable for students' needs for learning and discovery it is expected that school through teachers should offer help toward community. Hand in hand they should aim for productive development.
The teacher's role as a bridge to the community is huge. The teacher is responsible for showing the community why school and social interaction is important.
