Fitting into Gang Life.
Curly doesn't go to the rumble in "The Outsiders" because he is injured and unable to participate. He had previously been involved in a fight where he sustained significant injuries, which prevented him from joining his gang at the rumble. His absence highlights the consequences of gang violence and the physical toll it can take on individuals.
greasers
Socs
First everyone were friends and then they made their own gang
Because to society, the Greasers, the main gang of the book, are the Outsiders of the world.
In The Outsiders, the character of Johnny Cade was played by Ralph Macchio. Johnny does not like to fight because he has been both physically and verbally abused at home. He was also beaten by the Socs gang and lives in fear of having to fight.
dumb dogs
A fair gang fight is called a rumble. You may not use anything but your fists, feet, etc.. Switchblades, heaters, etc are not aloud.
The fact that you spelled "major" wrong kind of shows why you need these notes... 1) The gang gets prepared for the rumble...Pony tries to figure out why everyone in the gang likes to fight. 2) The Socs fight against the Greasers, and the Greasers win. 3) Johnny dies in the hospital.
if your talking about Outsiders Ponyboys other gang members are Johnny, Dallas, and Soda
He doesn't have a job, but his position in the gang, if that is what you are refering to, he is the gang's pet.
