I think 'syncretism' might be the term you're looking for.
How about "blasphemy?" :)
If there are different kinds of religions there are different kinds of rites of passage.
Rites are not important in most religions and not used in most religions.
There are no other 'religions' in the Catholic Church. However, within the Catholic Church there are a number of rites, including the Latin (Roman) rite, the Maronites, and several Eastern rites but all are Catholic. They are not different religions.
Catholicism is not divided into different religions. There is only one Catholic religion. There are several different rites in Catholicism but all are united under the leadership of the pope in Rome. This is unlike the Protestants who now number more than 30,000 different and distinct sects.
No, there is only one Catholic Church. However, within that one Church there are various rites, the largest of which is the Roman or Latin rite. Other rites are the Maronite, Ukrainian and other eastern rites that remained faithful to Rome after the Great Schism. All are considered as Catholics and not separate religions.
Rites are too interrupted. Rites are so much more dulled
The Romans were tolerant of other religions and many times found foreign gods were actually the same gods that the Romans worshiped only they had different names and sometimes different rites. They only clamped down on cults that they considered treasonous or decadent.
there are many different types of rites of passage. There are many from different cultures. Ex. becoming a teenager or graduating high school.
Mystery religions were religions that kept their real beliefs and rites secret from the general public, requiring a secret initiation before all was revealed to a member. Their beliefs often involved the birth, sacrifice and rebirth of a god or godman.
Those who do not know much about their mother religion and other religions, who have not read fundamentals of religions, neitherat least practiced rites prescribed by them are challenging and getting defeated often.
i dontknow bro
Currently, the issue about religion is that there are many many many types of religions, most of them having different beliefs, rites, rituals, context, etc. Religions don't always agree with each other on things. Like the Koran of middle east. The healer/pastor of the Koran, has traits and powers similar to Christianity's Jesus.
