The book 'Your Wicked Ways' is a romance novel by Eloisa James, which is the pseudonym of Mary Bly [b. 1962]. Bly is pursuing simultaneous careers as a romance novelist, and as a professor of English literature at Fordham University. Her knowledge of English history and literature serves her in good stead for her romance novels. For example, 'Your Wicked Ways' [2004] has the theme of the virtuous wife, Countess Helene, deciding to do something about a ten-year marriage in which her husband, Rees, finds his passion fulfilled elsewhere. The title is reminiscent of 'My Wicked Wicked Ways' [1959], which is the autobiography of Errol Leslie Thomson Flynn [June 20, 1909-October 14, 1959]. Flynn was trained by swordmaster Bob Anderson [b. September 15, 1922]. He applied that training to popular, swashbuckling roles as the skilled swordsman who always gets the girl, exposes the hypocrites, and defeats the villains.
