Well the play starts with Theseus planning their wedding and ends with the entertainment at that same wedding. In scene 1 we see a court hearing over Hermia's marriage and Demetrius's; in the last scene we see the entertainment at their separate weddings. Love is what drives the two young couples Into the Woods, is the effect of the herb Love-in-idleness, the subject of the play Pyramus and Thisbe, the issue of the relationships between Theseus and Hippolyta, Oberon and Titania, Hermia and Lysander and Demetrius and Helena.
