The ~ key is above the tab key in most keyboards. If you are looking for the ~ on top of the N for the Spanish letter ñ there is no specific key.
The ñ can be typed in most fonts on a PC (Windows) computer by pressing and holding the ALT key then pressing the numbers 164 on the key pad to the right of the keyboard (not the numbers above the letters). Ñ is done with ALT+165
On a Mac computer, press and hold the ALT key then press n then release the ALT key and press n again for the ñ. Press SHIFT N for the Ñ.
In some languages there are tildes above other letters. There are similar codes for these letters.
The tilde key (~) is a symbol key on a computer keyboard. It is typically located on the upper left side of the keyboard, below the escape key (ESC) and above the Tab key. The tilde character can be used in various ways, such as representing the home directory in a file path or as a diacritical mark in some languages.
A backtick (`) is a punctuation mark that is often used in computer programming to denote code or commands within a string. It is commonly found on the same key as the tilde (~) on a keyboard.
This depends on what you're using. If you have an extended keyboard with a numeric pad on the side, try the following: hold down the alt button and type 0241. (This won't work using the numbers running across the top of the keyboard.) On my laptop (which has Microsoft Word) I press control and shift and the tilde button at the same time, then let go and press n. That will not work on this website, so here I copy and paste from another document.
To pronounce the word "tilde," say it as "TILL-duh." The emphasis is typically placed on the first syllable.
The mark over the letter 'n' is called a tilde. It is used in various languages, like Spanish and Portuguese, to indicate a different pronunciation of the letter 'n' compared to when it appears without the tilde.
You can add a tilde to a vowel by using a character with a tilde accent. For example, in Spanish, you can add a tilde to vowels by using an accent mark over the vowel (e.g., Γ‘, Γ©, Γ, Γ³, ΓΊ). You can also use keyboard shortcuts or special characters in word processing software to add a tilde to a vowel.
~ is the tilde key.
Depending on what type of keyboard you have, the Tilde key can be found at the top left, below the Escape key. By pressing both the Shift key and the Tilde key produces '~'.
its this key ~ but no one knows how to activate it!
The tilde key is just above the Tab key.
The tilde symbol is used in mathematics to represent infinity.
You Cant Put The Tilde key (~) In Your Name Unless You Have A Spanish German French..... Etc... Except for an English Keyboard.
press shift and the top left key under the escape key, the tilde key.
It really depends on your keyboard. On US keyboard layouts, the tilde key (~) is to the left of the 1 key. On UK layouts, it's next to enter. However, if you're asking because you're trying to open the console, then always try the key to the left of 1, regardless of whether it's the tilde or not.
itd the key with the squiggly line which looks like this ~
try the tilde over the right hand shift key, if that doesnt work try the key directly above tab to open the console
