I purchased my 08 CBR 1000rr June 6th of this year. I haven't had many chances to open it up yet. On the few times I have it was for very short distances. I was taking it home from the dealership on the interstate going 70. I dropped from 6th down to 4th and gunned it. It lifted the front wheel off the ground and scared the crap out of me. So I slowed down to the speed limit real quick. A couple of weeks later once I had a lot more miles on the bike I got it up to 187 felt there was still plenty of power left. Guess I'm saying I havent had the chance to top it out yet BUT... I can tell you it is scary powerfull. All in all I'm very happy with it however this is the first 1000 I've had. I can say my Suz GX 500e and Suz Bandit 750 are nothing when compared to the CBR. Hope this helps... And be carefull!!!!

I purchsed my CBR 1000rr From a friend and We took it to a track in Houston and It topped out at 249 MPH. It is Super Fast. It really is a super bike.
