Factory 2012 Impalas come with the pcm limited to 112 MPH due to the fact that the factory ships them with tires that that have a safe speed rating of "T"=112 MPH. With the PCM retuned via a programmer and some high speed rated tires the Impala should reach a top speed of 140+ MPH.
