Head bolts are 65 lb/ft. Look at the link, "Small Block Chevy" at the right for all torque specs.
If it is a small block V8 with cast iron heads you torque them to 30 ft/lbs.
the 7.4 vortec 454 has 290 horsepower and 410 ft lb or torque
25 foot pounds of retardness cause you dont know this you jackass. how about you go and do something with your boring life and go and torque them rocker arms back on to your heads.

Because that is when GM went to the first generation Vortec heads, and, they overcame injection lean issues.

The torque specs are 59-64 ft-lbs.
