Unless you want to learn illusion tricks with it, don't get the Fushigi ball. It was such a rip off, I wasted $20. I thought it could defy gravity like it says in the commercials but it's basically a 4 pound ball that you have to learn to balance with a stupid "guidance disc" that barely helps. The illusions you see in the commercials are hard to learn and I suggest you don't get it. To answer your question all in all, there is no trick, it's a difficult illusion.

Fushigi is a ball that is light weight. So with that being said fushigi is so light it floats like a feather. *new person* FUSHIGI IS NOT LIGHT except for the mini balls, if you get one and drop it you actually hear a loud THUD, Fushigi actually is an illusion, you can make it look as if it moves, when actually you move, you could actually do this with any ball, but Fushigi has no marks to tell if its moving or not. it does take a lot of practice.
