There is virtually no trouble with the nearly indestructible nylon stock. " It takes a licking and keeps on ticking", as John Cameron Swazy used to say. I have had one of these rifles for 40 years and it has had no problems. Shoots accurately and reliably. Back in the day, cost was $29 to $39.00. Today, the value is between $150 and $300. Good luck!
