BF#BC Note that unless you have a long or special scale bass I wouldn't recommend this for a four string. On a five string it would be something like: BF#BCA and even in that case the last four strings are higher than a normally tuned bass which could make them break. I would recommend some sort of special drop tune capo as opposed to actually tuning a bass this way. Or if you need the scale... tune to AEADG or AEAD and capo at the second fret.
drop a, drop b and some songs like creatures in drop c but mostly drop b and a
drop B B F# B E G# C#.
The lowest guitar tuning possible is drop A tuning, where the strings are tuned to A, E, A, D, G, and B.
Usually they are in drop B: BF♯BEG♯C♯ (drop A# : A♯-F-A♯-D♯-G-C) this is from 6th string to 1st string.
In Drop D tuning, the notes on the guitar neck are D, A, D, G, B, and E from the lowest string to the highest string.
its B tuning with the heavy E tuned to A A E A D G B drop tunings are almost always matching the top string with the 4th
It is just down tuned. Alic In Chains is famouse for down tuning a 1/2 step. Drop D is tuning your low E string to D. Tuning is D A D G B E.
The lowest guitar tuning commonly used in heavy metal music is Drop A tuning, where the strings are tuned to A, E, A, D, G, B, E.
tune to drop d then tune normally and you will be at d tuning then drop the low E down two steps to make drop C then tune that normally to get C tuning then drop that 2 steps and tune normally so now you have drop B then tune it normally to B tuning and finally drop the last string two frets and there you have it drop A( you can then repeat these steps to go lower my friend goes all the way to drop G)good luck
The best, and most common tuning for a guitar is Standard E tuning, but it really depends on the type of music you're playing. Many metal songs use Drop C or Drop B, rock songs can vary between Standard, Drop D, or simply D. So figure out your style of music, then find out what sounds best.
Drop G..7 string 7 string original tuning is B,E,A,D,G,B,E..drop that then it's A,E,A,D,G,B,E....then drop C the 6 strings...(leave the low A alone for now)drop C is C,G,C,F#,A,D. Now drop the low A string to G...there you go...fkn low This guy isn't wrong...That works...but they're pretty much using 8-string guitars now. Tuning for those is the same as a standard 7-string just with the F# below the low B...aka...badass
They use a variety of tunings, e.g. Drop B, C standard, and Drop D. It honestly depends o the album.
