Hydrogen and Helium.
Most planets' atmospheres are carbon dioxide, but that varies depending upon many factors.
While terrestrial planets are made of rock and have gases in the atmosphere, jovian planets are made almost entirly of gases. If an atmosphere is made of gases in a planet, then the atmosphere of the planets with more gases will be thicker.
The inner planets are smaller, and do not have the dense atmospheres of the outer planets. The four inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars) have warmer temperatures than the exteriors of the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune).The "gas giants" have very hot lower atmospheres, caused by the intense pressure. The atmospheres are mostly hydrogen, but for Uranus and Neptune there are higher levels of water, methane, and ammonia. All of the gas giants have multiple moons and rings, the most visible being the ice rings around Saturn.they are divided by inner and outer and the outer planet are the planets that have bigger planets.

The first 4 planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, are called rock planets, and the last 4, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, are the gas planets. The main differences between these two groups are that the rock planets are made of rock, the gas planets are made of gas, the rock planets are typically smaller than the gas planets, and the gas planets have rings.
The giant outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune have extremely thick atmospheres of hydrogen, helium, methane, and ammonia. Titan, the moon of Saturnalso has a methane-ammonia atmosphere.
The outer planets, also known as the gas giants, are located beyond the asteroid belt in our solar system. They include Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. They are significantly larger than the inner rocky planets and consist mostly of gases and liquids.
