Not at the present time, just like scientists haven't yet figured out why there is lightning in our skies. The idea that our Universe has been expanding at a (more or less) steady rate for the last 13.7 billion years, is just as proven as the idea that our Earth goes around our Sun. In my 8th grade science book it says that electric and magnetic fields always interact with eachother because of electricity, there's magnetism so yeah I really agree with that unless there's some kind of quantum question then I have no idea sorry :>
The popular theory to resolve the time travel paradoxes is quantum realities; basically, it says that everything that can happen does happen in another quantum reality. Also, when you time travel, you don't go into the past of your timeline; you go into the past of another reality and affect it instead.
